Rapid Lock Services is a mobile auto locksmith service based in Falkirk, Central Scotland, operated as a sole trader. When this policy refers to “we”, “us” or “our”, it means Rapid Lock Services.

2. What Data We Collect and Why
2.1 Contact and Enquiry Form
When you submit an enquiry via our contact form, we collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Location / area
- Vehicle make, model and year
- Whether your vehicle has push-start ignition
- Whether you have a working key
- The type of service you need
Why we collect this: to respond to your enquiry, assess whether we can help, provide a price estimate, and arrange a booking. Without this information we cannot provide the service.
Lawful basis: performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract), and our legitimate interest in responding to customer enquiries.
2.2 Telephone and WhatsApp Communications
When you call or message us via WhatsApp, we receive your phone number and any information you choose to share. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and, where a job is booked, to fulfil the service.

2.3 Website Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to collect anonymised data about how visitors interact with the site, including pages visited, time on site and approximate location (country/region level). This data does not identify you personally.

2.4 Server Logs
Our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically records standard server log data including IP addresses, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. This data is retained for security and diagnostic purposes.

We use the personal data we collect exclusively for the following purposes:
- Responding to your enquiry and providing a price estimate
- Booking and completing the auto locksmith service requested

4. Who We Share Data With
We share your data only where necessary to operate this website and deliver services:
4.1 WPForms
Enquiry form submissions are processed by WPForms, a WordPress plugin. Form data is stored in our WordPress database hosted on Hostinger servers. See the WPForms privacy policy for details of their data handling.
4.2 Google
This site uses Google Analytics for website traffic analysis and Google Maps for location context. Google processes anonymised analytics data on servers which may be located outside the UK. Google operates under Standard Contractual Clauses for UK-to-EU/US data transfers. See Google’s Privacy Policy for full details.
4.3 Trustindex (Google Reviews Widget)
We display customer reviews via a Trustindex widget, which loads content from Trustindex servers. When this widget loads, your IP address and browser information may be shared with Trustindex. See the Trustindex Privacy Policy for details.
4.4 Hostinger (Hosting Provider)
Our website and its data are hosted on Hostinger servers. Hostinger acts as a data processor and processes data on our behalf in accordance with a data processing agreement. Hostinger is GDPR-compliant.
4.5 Legal Obligations
We may disclose personal data where required to do so by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our business, customers or others.
5. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary:

This website is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through this site, please contact us and we will delete it.
